This is the start of the Tippmann Pro Carbine. Its a paintball gun put out by the well known, if your into paintball, company of Tippmann. I'm doing this model piece by piece so that I can do an exploded view of all the parts and even put together a cleaning tutorial using the 3D model.
This one is the latest of the model. It was the main body of the gun, the plastic removable sight, the barrel and the start of the plastic grip on the gun. Everything is modeled in so far on all the pieces, except the main body small holes are missing though barely noticeable right now. the barrel has its threading modeled into it along with the back side of the main body. The grip does not have everything put into it yet. it has indentations that will be the next part of making it complete.
This picture shows the threading that the main body has and also shows that the piece is modeled on the inside as well. The main body is not just a shell but has had the inside modeled out as well to make things correct when making an explosive view of the gun.
The barrel has the holes modeled into it and it also shows a very light wireframe texture to show the frame of everything
